BANJA LUKA, 09. JAN. 2015 – Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that no one would be able to pass a decree canceling Bosnian Serb entity Republika Srpska, stressing that it was not created by any decree but by the people. Attending a celebration of Republika Srpska Day in Banjaluka, Vucic said it was Serbia’s obligation to protect and preserve Republika Srpska, but also to guarantee the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina according to the international Dayton Accords. “We have come to Banjaluka to show respect our sincere support to Republika Srpska and its citizens. No one has nor can prohibit our right to love our people, today, tomorrow or ever,” the prime minister of Serbia said. According to Vucic, the priority task of all Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats is the future, which, he said, will depend on the rate of progress and catching up to those who have already gone further in their development. “Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats are tied together by destiny, we have lived together for centuries in the past and will live so in the future. We all lost in the wars and that is why today we say enough graves, others’ and our, Serb graves. We want to build factories and respect our neighbors, sharing the good and bad with them,” Vucic stated. The main celebration of Republika Srpska Day and a ceremony were held in Banjaluka on Jan. 9 and included Vucic, Serbian ministers and the Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church Irinej.
